The Saeakari Tea Cultivar

Saeakari is a tea cultivar which was developed in 1997.

The name is said to imply that the cultivar will grow good quality tea even during the harsh sunlight of summer.

It’s a cross between the Z1 and Saemidori tea cultivars.

The taste of Saeakari is better then Yabukita, and many people compare the flavor with Saemidori.

Saeakari is known to be high-yielding and resistant to pests, making it a good choice for commercial farmers.
