The tea bag is definitely larger than normal size and is stained yellow from turmeric.
Review
I let this brew for a solid 8 minutes, because that’s what the directions say to do.
This is brewing a very interesting color tea.
It’s golden amber colored, sort of like the sun, so I imagine this might be where they got the name from.
Dominant flavor is the rooibos. Slightly sweet, slightly fruity and floral tea.
The turmeric both tastes and feels like a dry turmeric powder. I imagine a more coarse form of turmeric root would produce a better, less powdery tea.
A little cinnamon, cardamom and vanilla on the aftertaste, but those flavors are placed behind the rooibos and turmeric on the palette.
