    Lu'an Melon Seed green tea

    Liu An Gua Pian (六安瓜片) is a green tea from Liu’an Country in Anhui Province, China.

    It is one of the famous green teas of China and is on many lists.

    It’s named is derived from the flat, opal shape the leaves are processed into, which are said to resemble a melon seed.

    Liu An Gua Pian green tea is typically picked from the second leaf on the branch.

    The central vein is removed, and then the leaves are pan-fried.
