I brewed this tea in a small Yixing teapot using standard bottled water.
Steeped for 25 seconds.
The fragrance is sort of like candied mushrooms, with beetroot and some light floral notes.
The flavor reminds me a bit of wet soil, but it’s a bit sweet as well.
A slight bitterness seems to cling to the back of the mouth.
This is a somewhat unusual tea, but I rather like it and I would enjoy drinking this again.
Flavor notes: Candied mushrooms, beetroot, wet soil, and field flowers.
Steeped for 30 seconds.
This brew is much darker in color.
Flavor is the same, but perhaps a bit stronger.
