The Benifuji Tea Cultivar

Benifuji is a tea cultivar from Kanaya, Japan, which is typically produced into a black tea.

It is a cross between Assam and a Chinese tea cultivar.

Being quite similar to Benihikari, it is known for it’s vigorous growth, high yield, and quality.

It was first registered in 1961.
