The Xiaguan Tea Factory

The historic Xiaguan Tea Factory (下关茶叶厂)was founded in 1941 in Xiaguan, Yunnan, China.

They sell tea at a wide range of price points and have won quite a few national awards.

They are famous for their toucha (沱茶) productions, which are popular among puer tea collectors.

Some of Xiaguan’s brands include:

Song He (松鹤), white crane
Bao Yan (宝焰), sold primarily in Tibet and is often used to make butter tea.
Nan Zhao (南诏), a high-end puer brand sold in Taiwan.
Ma Bei (马背), a tuocha brand
FT (fei tai)
