The Tsuyuhikari Tea Cultivar

Tsuyuhikari is a cultivar of tea that was developed in 1970 by the Shizuoka Tea Experiment Station in Japan.

It was created by crossbreeding Shizu 7132 and Asatsuyu.

Tsuyuhikari is ready for harvest a few days before Yabukita, which makes it an excellent choice for reducing workload during the harvest season.
