Hai Lang originally tried to register his company in 2003 under the brand “Ming Xiang Ya Yuan”, but it was already being used by a small tea house located in Beijing. He eventually settled for the name “Xiang Sui”, which is the official brand-name of Hai Lang Hao teas, but you’ll find his teas labeled online under both names.
