Classic ripe pu’er tea flavor, with no fishiness or off notes.
Rich, smooth flavor. Dark and malty. Wet forest.
It’s not bitter at all and this tea is probably approachable enough to offer to tea drinkers who aren’t yet familiar with ripe pu’er tea.
I wouldn’t necessarily consider this a special or unique pu’er tea in any way, but for a ripe pu’er tea from a well-known brand which you can actually purchase at some grocery stores in the United States of America, it’s rather good.
Flavor notes: Sweet malt, roasted cocoa bean, forest floor, and mushroom.
