Tea is often easy to find in grocery stores, but many people are getting sick of grocery store quality teabags, which are typically comprised of low-quality broken tea leaves. Since local tea shops aren’t as prevalent in the Western world as they are in Asia, it’s usually easier to simply look for tea online.
This becomes even more true when looking for harder to source styles of tea, such as pu’er tea.
If you’re having difficulty sourcing quality tea online, then consider giving one of our recommended tea vendors a try.

Yunnan Sourcing
Fans of pu’er tea will know how hard it is to source quality material in the Western market.
Yunnan Sourcing is one of the few Western-facing pu’er tea vendors with a proven reputation.
They also stock other types of tea, including oolong, green, and black teas.

Tao of Tea
While many of their teas are probably mid-grade, Tao of Tea is a reputable tea vendor with a decent selection of teas. I would consider them worth trying, as they sometimes have some interesting teas.

Crimson Lotus
Crimson Lotus is another Western-facing tea vendor who specializes in pu’er tea.
Their blends have a decent following, as does his YouTube channel, where the owner and other invited guests discuss the world of tea.
