Rose tea is a delightful and simple beverage to prepare.

Here is a basic recipe for rose tea:

    Ingredients

    • Dried rose buds or petals (about 1-2 teaspoons per cup)
    • Hot water
    • Optional: honey or lemon for flavor

    Instructions

    1. Boil Water: Bring water to a near-boiling point. The ideal temperature is around 80-90°C (176-194°F). If you don’t have a thermometer, boil the water and then let it cool for a minute or two.
    2. Steep the Tea: Place the rose buds in a teapot or a cup. Pour the hot water over the rose buds or petals. Use about 1-2 teaspoons of rose buds or petals for each cup of water.
    3. Steep Time: Let the tea steep for 5-10 minutes. The longer you steep, the stronger the flavor. However, steeping for too long might make the tea bitter.
    4. Strain and Serve: Strain the rose buds or petals out and pour the tea into a cup. If you’re using a teapot with an infuser, you can simply remove the infuser.
    5. Optional Additions: You can add honey, lemon, or mint according to your taste preference.
