    Kuding Tea

Chinese Kuding tea is also known as ‘Bitter Nail Tea’ and is a very bitter tasting Chinese infusion by twisting and combining different species of plants together. The most common plants used to make kuding tea are Liqustrum robustum, which is a type of wax tree, and Ilex Kaushue, which is a species of holly.

The leaves are twisted into a rather fancy spike shape, and as the name implies, the tea tastes rather bitter.
