    Today’s review is an imperial grade Yue Guang Bai white tea cake from Yunnan Sourcing.

    Supposedly this tea is from 40 to 60 year old bushes.

    Review

    Brewing Vessel: Small Glass Pitcher
    Type of Water: Spring Water
    Rinse Time: 5 Seconds
    Steep Time: 60 Seconds – 75 Seconds – 90 Seconds

    The tea cake is fairly compressed and is not easy to pry apart.

    Good body and flavor.

    It seems to coat the mouth and leave a long-lasting aftertaste.

    Flavor notes: Wildflower honey, root vegetables, hay, white peach, cherry wood, buckwheat honey, molasses, and malt.
