As I expected, this is a rather strange tea.
The result of some mad scientist tea blender, I’m sure.
It doesn’t really taste much like pu-erh tea, as the rooibos and honeybush lend a savory sweetness to the flavor profile. The cocoa is noticeable on the end of the palette but somewhat blends in with the spices. The nutmeg is perhaps a bit strong in contrast with the other flavors.
I imagine a splash of milk might suit this tea, if that’s your thing.
