Celestial Seasonings Lemon Zinger Herbal Tea has been around for quite a while. I remember drinking it as a kid. It was probably one of the first teas that I tried. I remember enjoying it, but it’s been quite a while since I have had it.

Ingredient list: Hibiscus, rosehips, roasted chicory, orange peel, lemongrass, lemon peel and whole dried lemons, natural lemon flavor with other natural flavors and citric acid.
The tea bags seem to be a slightly larger than normal size.
Review
The tea produced a red-colored brew, very typical of hibiscus, but just a tad bit lighter and with perhaps a bit of an orange hue.
The flavor is predominantly lemon. It definitely has a bit of tang, but it’s also pretty sweet. Hibiscus can add a lingering herbal sweetness to a tea blend, and I definitely notice those flavors clinging to the palette for a few minutes after taking a sip. The rosehips hide a bit behind the hibiscus, but do give off a light floral vibe. The lemongrass notes are there, but the other lemon flavors are more dominant. The chicory provides just a hint of roasted coffee bean in the aftertaste.
The most interesting thing about this tea is how the flavor profile seems to alternate between tart and sweet, providing a variation of flavors in each cup. I assume this is due to the added natural flavors and citric acid, but it does add an interesting element to the tea.
That being said, it seems as though it gets a little to sweet for me if I leave the bag in to long.
